The Infertili-Tea 2024

Infertility is a journey that touches many lives in deeply personal ways. The Infertili-Tea was created to offer a space where individuals could come together, share their stories, and build connections over a cup of tea by Mindful Mixology AF and delicious delights from Whitebox Catering. Our goal was to raise awareness about the emotional and physical toll of infertility while offering support to those who are walking through it.

The heart of the evening was the sharing of three powerful warrior stories, each showcasing different paths through infertility:

Thank you to the incredible strength and bravery of these warriors.

Their stories have made such an impact on so many already.

Another powerful moment of the evening was the keynote address by Dr. Amber Cooper, a leading expert in fertility care and research. Dr. Cooper delivered an insightful and heartfelt talk about the critical issue of access to fertility care. She shed light on the challenges many individuals face when seeking treatment, from the financial burdens to disparities in care.

Dr. Cooper emphasized the importance of advocating for broader access to fertility services, ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their background, have the opportunity to pursue family-building options. Her call to action resonated deeply with the audience, highlighting the need for systemic change and the importance of community support in navigating these barriers.

Her expertise, coupled with her genuine compassion for those struggling with infertility, left a lasting impact on everyone present, inspiring hope and a renewed sense of determination in the fight for equitable access to care.

Through personal reflections, shared tears, and laughter, the event reinforced the idea that there is hope, even in the darkest moments. Our goal was not just to talk about the difficulties of infertility but to emphasize the strength and resilience of the community.
